With much sadness, we announce that More Than a Fad’s Westpoint location will close effective October 29, 2022. This decision, made by the governing board, has been difficult as we have loved this location and community. Despite the opportunity, our growth could not be sustained in this venture just yet. Therefore, we have decided to scale back our operations to two stores only, Kingsway and Southside.
Thank you for shopping and spreading the word about our stores. Your purchases are having an impact through the work of Adeara Recovery Centre, and we hope to continue growing that impact through our thrift stores. While this change is a loss, it is also an opportunity. Our team is excited to pour more energy into the two existing stores and continue our positive relations with the surrounding communities.
We would like to express our gratitude towards the fearless team of staff and volunteers at the Westpoint store who worked hard to ensure a great shopping experience for all. We honour your commitment to More Than a Fad and Adeara, and value you as friends and family.
We are grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive community and would like to invite you to continue supporting our two other locations in Edmonton. Your word of mouth is the best tool we have to make a greater impact in our city.
